• Video verification

IPhone apps can now enable cost effective video surveillance using almost any network camera on your existing CCTV surveillance system.

The application delivers network video surveillance capabilities including Zoom, pan, and tilt with iPhone pinch and squeeze multi-touch functionality. Iphone surveillance apps also Support an unlimited number of IP cameras, on top of allowing free access to network video cameras.

Works worldwide (Based on Mobile Package)

3G, Wi-Fi, GPRS or EDGE Networks

  • Professional Uptime Manifesto

Our industry expertise and experience allows us to build solutions integrating up and coming components like the iphone. As consultants we like to create redundant systems with 365/7 uptime because we know that uptime could mean the diffrence between objective success or failure.

Video verification recognizes and documents a change in the surrounding environment by using cameras to record video signals or image snapshots. The video signals or image snapshots allows the monitoring center to either “hear” or “see” into the protected premise to determine if an intruder is present.  This system is also great in preventing annoying false alarms. These source images that are recorded can then be sent over a communication link, usually an Internet protocol (IP) network.  Then the images are received at a central station where monitors retrieve the images through proprietary software. The information is processed and sent according to a law-enforcement office and recorded to an event file.  This can be very useful in that it can be used as prosecution evidence later.

There are three different types of audio verification. They are Listen-in audio, two-way audio, and impact activated audio.  The listen-in audio is when a security device has been activated, such as a door contact detector.  The listen-in device is also turned on to allow the monitoring center to hear what is happening at the location.  The second type is two-way audio which has a hands free communication session that takes place between the alarm user and monitoring center to assist in determining the cause of alarm activation in the protected location.  This is used mainly with a keypad.  The last type is Impact Activated Audio.  In this type the sounds are transmitted to the monitoring center from the protected location by an audio sensor, which is capable of hearing the sounds of an actual intrusion formulating.  No other security advice needs to be activated for this type to function.
An example of how this system works is when a passive infrared or other sensor is triggered a designated number of video frames from before and after the event is sent to the central station.  A second video solution can be incorporated into to a standard panel, which sends the central station an alarm. When a signal is received, a trained monitoring professional accesses the on-site digital video recorder (DVR) through an IP link to determine the cause of the activation. For this type of system, the camera input to the DVR reflects the alarm panel’s zones and partitioning, which allows personnel to look for an alarm source in multiple areas.
