• Fiber-Optic

The light forms an electro-magnetic carrier wave are modulated to carry information. First developed in the 1970s, fiber-optic communication systems have revolutionized the telecommunications industry. Because of its advantages over electrical transmission, optical fibers have largely replaced copper wire communications in core networks in the developed world.

The process of communicating using fiber-optics involves the following basic steps: Creating the optical signal involving the use of a transmitter, relaying the signal along the fiber, ensuring that the signal does not become too distorted or weak, receiving the optical signal, and converting it into an electrical signal.

  • Wireless Mesh Network

A communications network made up of radio nodes organized in a mesh topology. Wireless mesh networks often consist of mesh clients, mesh routers and gateways. The mesh clients are made up of items like laptops, cell phones and other wireless devices.  The mesh routers then forward traffic to and from the gateways which connect to the Internet. The coverage area of the radio nodes working as a single network is sometimes called a mesh cloud. The amount of access that is available to this mesh cloud is dependent on the radio nodes working in harmony with each other to create a radio network. A mesh network is reliable and offers redundancy. When one node can no longer operate, the rest of the nodes can still communicate with each other, directly or through one or more intermediate nodes. Wireless mesh networks can be implemented with various wireless technology including 802.11, 802.16, cellular technologies or combinations of more than one type.

  • Video Fire Monitoring

An automatic fire alarm system is designed to detect the unwanted presence of fire by monitoring environmental changes associated with combustion. In general, a fire alarm system is either classified as automatic, manually activated, or both. Automatic fire alarm systems can be used to notify people to evacuate in the event of a fire or other emergency, to summon emergency forces aid, and to prepare the structure and associated systems to control the spread of fire and smoke.

  • Access Control

2msolutions have many access control professionals with the capabilities to generate indications and condition alerts for your access control system. Operated through wired inputs, the reader is powered and managed remotely from any standard Access Control System through output control.

Access control is the next evolution of the traditional lock. With this new technology, it has the ability to permit or deny the use of a particular resource by a particular entity. Access control mechanisms can be used in managing physical resources (such as a movie theater, to which only ticketholders should be admitted), logical resources (a bank account, with a limited number of people authorized to make a withdrawal), or digital resources (for example, a private text document on a computer, which only certain users should be able to read). With Access Control, you will be on your way to decreasing risk of unwanted visitors and intrusions with a more efficient means of security
